  Shanghai, March 8^th2017 Roca, World’s leadingsanitary brand with one hundred years’ history,unveiled its “The Discovery ofInspiration” exhibition in 2017 Design Shanghai through showcasing threesanitary ware inspired art pieces from Roca Barcelona gallery. Sharing the sametheme of “The Discovery of Inspiration”, Roca held a series of activities inRoca Garden (Shanghai Exhibition Center) and Roca Shanghai Gallery, to presentan innovative exploration on inspiration and reveal its commitment to designand endless pursuit for living aesthetics.

  “设计”和“灵感”是Roca乐家密切关注的话题，对于参展2017设计上海，Roca乐家品牌方代表表示：“灵感的形态受个人所处时代、文化和地域背景影响而变化万千，我们希望更多的设计灵魂在乐家花园相遇，阅读Roca乐家产品背后的灵感地图，互相交流，互相启发，描画属于自己的灵感形状。”

  Inspirational design,exclusively present

  Roca has always been attentive to the idea of “Design” and“Inspiration” since its establishment. Mentioning Roca’ appearance in 2017Design Shanghai, the spokesman of Roca said, “Inspiration is defined by one’scultural and geographic background as well as the era he/she lives. We wouldalso like to see more design souls met in Roca Garden and charted theinspirational map behind Roca’s products. We also hope that people can get enlightenedby others and share their unique interpretations of inspiration.”

  灵感色彩，亲眼所见

  此次出现在设计上海的装置艺术 “Emotional design”从Roca乐家巴塞罗那艺术廊越洋而来。其设计师认为灵感和情感有着近乎相同的本质，虽然没有的肉眼可见的形态，却能被真实而强烈地感知。该系列展品以Roca乐家Inspira、Amberes及W+W三系列产品为原型，运用玻璃纤维，彩色凝胶等多种材料打造流动质感，具象化展现Roca乐家产品背后的设计巧思。

  Inspiration’s color,see with your own eyes

  The installation art “Emotional design” displayed in DesignShanghai travelled all the way from Roca Barcelona Gallery to Shanghai. Thedesigners of this collection believe that inspiration shares the same naturewith emotion. Although they don't have physical existence, they can be trulyfelt. “Emotional design” sets Roca’s Inspira、Amberesand W+W as prototypes and uses various materials such as fiberglass and coloredgel to create the liquid texture, concretizing the ingenious idea behind Roca’sproducts.

  灵感形状，立体描画

  艺术展品之外，现场妙趣横生的VR环节让人瞬间置身奇妙的三维世界， 戴上VR眼镜，一组由方形，圆形和柔方形三种形状链接而成的Inspira系列台盆跃然眼前，体验者可用线条和色彩尽情描绘Roca乐家产品为其带来的无限灵感。

  Inspiration’sportrait, draw in 3D

  In addition to the artistic exhibits, the VR booth in RocaGarden brings a magical three-dimensional world to audiences. When putting onthe pair of VR glasse, three interconnected Inspira basins, in the shape ofsquare, circle and square with soft edges, would appear vividly on sight.Experiencers could then use lines and colors to paint their own scenariosinspired by Roca and its products.

  设计上海期间，一场别无二致的乐家百年海报展在Roca上海艺术廊拉开了帷幕。艺术廊作为上海地标性设计建筑入选设计上海In the city全城观展巴士线路停靠站之一，参展公众可免费搭乘巴士至艺术廊观展，纵观乐家百年来经典海报设计，延续灵感之旅。

  Inspiration paragon,travel through time and space

  During 2017 Design Shanghai, anexhibition featuring Roca’s commercials over the century will be unveiled atRoca Shanghai Gallery, which is a local design landmark and a stop along theDesign Shanghai’s “In the city” bus route. Visitors can take a free ride to thegallery and appreciate the classic Roca posters design in a hundred year andcontinue the discovery of inspiration.
