摘要：Cabana邀请新世代音乐人马伯骞为KVADRAT / RAF SIMONS展览的策展，以突破常规的视角，为大家诠释年轻人眼中拥有无限可能性的家居面料。

       被誉为这时代最有影响力的时装设计师Raf Simons，自2014年起与丹麦高品质当代织品的领导品牌Kvadrat开启了时装与家具、家居设计的跨界突破。KVADRAT / RAF SIMONS系列将独特色调与精湛编织工艺融合，把属于Raf Simons的美学视角带入家居设计中。

       Cabana作为KVADRAT / RAF SIMONS系列面料中国区唯一授权零售渠道，很荣幸将KVADRAT / RAF SIMONS带入中国，并邀请到新世代音乐人马伯骞作为本次KVADRAT / RAF SIMONS展览的策展人，以突破常规的视角，为大家诠释年轻人眼中拥有无限可能性的家居面料。

Raf Simons, honored as the most influential fashion designer in the era, has breached through the barriers among fashion, furniture and home design with Kvadrat, the leading brand of high quality modern fabrics in Denmark, since 2014. The KVADRAT / RAF SIMONS collections combines unique hues with exquisite weaving crafts and brings the aesthetic views of Raf Simons into home design.

Being the only authorized retailing channel of The KVADRAT / RAF SIMONS fabrics in China, it’s Cabana’s honor to bring KVADRAT / RAF SIMONS into China and manage to invite Victor Ma, a musician of the new generation, to be our curator of KVADRAT / RAF SIMONS exhibition. From a non-conventional perspective, we explain the household fabrics which have infinite possibilities in new generation’s eyes.

About Curator

马伯骞（Victor Ma）

原创音乐人，潮流Icon，设计师。1996年3月20日出生于美国纽约，祖籍陕西省西安市，美籍华裔男歌手，就读于美国南加州大学，知名华人建筑设计师马清运之子，参加综艺选秀2017《明日之子》获得亚军并出道。

Victor Ma, an original musician, trend icon and designer, a Chinese American male singer who was born in New York, America in March 20th,1996 with his family originally from Xian, Shanxi, previously attended the University of Southern California, the son of the famous Chinese architect Qingyun Ma, won the second place of the talent show“The Coming One”and made his debut.

Exhibition Foreword

作为芸芸众生中的一个迷茫年轻人，在音乐或是生活哲学中，“破坏与重塑”，是一切我所创造事物的核心。建筑世家的出身并没有定义我的创造力，而是赋予了我一种非传统的视角。作为一名年轻的表达者，我的目标即是“逆流而上”——打破那些我自小被教导的方法规矩。总而言之，我享受“破坏与重塑”，以及我的固有身份将其重建的过程。

策展人马伯骞

深入的说，所谓的“上流”与任何社会地位都必须执行的日常琐事之间，将通过这次展览，呈现出一种戏剧性的对比。在日常、必需、甚至有些脏乱的人类活动中使用来自KVADRAT / RAF SIMONS最上等的纺织品，是件有些奇特却又和谐的事情。我真诚地邀请，欢迎大家进入我矛盾又奇怪的世界。

Disrupt and reconstruct is the core essence of everything I create, regardless in music or the philosophies on being a young, lost human-being. Coming from a family of the most prestigious, classic designers does not define my creative process. On the contrary, it actually places my inspiration from a nontraditional perspective. My purpose as an artist is to swim against the “tides” - ways and rules I was taught since I was young. In conclusion, I enjoy the process of destroying and rebuilding my born identity.

Digging deeper, a dramatic contrast is presented through this exhibition between the so called “upper echelon” and daily routine carried out by everyone regardless of social status. Using the most privileged textiles, from KVADRAT / RAF SIMONS on daily, necessary, and if you may dirty human activities is quite odd but at the same time cohesive.

I welcome you with my most genuine respect to my contradicting and ill world of my ways dealing with pieces from the finest textiles and legacies.

Exhibition Introduction

卧室能在心理与感官上都带给我们自然的舒适感，所以无论是最好的庇护所还是最普通的住宅家庭，它总是我们进入空间后目光落及的第一处。而最后的、却对每个人都至关重要的一处则是盥洗室。这是一个私人空间，或者换句话说，这是人们完成日常“dirty work”的地方。在这场展览中，马伯骞将带你参观他的起居室/家庭工作室。但是，不同的方向，你将会在他的盥洗室看见六种不同的情绪。

AREA I

预想中这块区域是一间理想卧室、录音室和阳台的混合体，是一个年轻艺术家在大都市之中的公寓，暖色灯光与“随性”摆置的结合描绘出舒适与庄严。这个空间同样也包含KVADRAT/RAF SIMONS。

这里由坐便器与紧挨着它们的卫生纸架构成。每个卫生纸架上都装有被卷成与普通厕纸大小形状相等的KVADRAT/RAF SIMONS精选纺织品，它们代表了Victor在盥洗室时的不同情绪。

From the finest shelters to the most regular homes, the first sight in the space that is witnessed is the living room, which psychologically brings a natural comfort to the mind and the five senses. The last space experienced, which is necessary to every human-being is the bathroom. This is a space of privacy or if you may a space where human-beings do their daily “dirty work”. However, in this exhibition Victor Ma takes you on a journey through his living room/in-home studio. However, take the wrong turn you see the six emotions when it comes to his space of “filth”.

AREA I

Hypothetically speaking this area is a mixture of an ideal living room, recording studio, and balcony. Summing it up, a regular “young artist’s” apartment in a metropolitan city. The key words “comfort” and “majestic” are depicted through warm lighting combining with a “carefree” set up. This space also consists of other various pieces.

AREA II  

Consists of a toilet with six toilet paper holders right next to them. Every toilet paper towel holder holds the selected KVADRAT／RAF SIMONS textiles rolled into the shape of toilet paper with the exact size of regular toilet paper roles，representing different moods when Victor releases human waste.

此次展览于北京繁华的时尚地标三里屯太古里北区Cabana中国首家旗舰店的四层活动空间内呈现，在近300坪面积的画廊级展厅及活动露台，同时举办品牌发布会、主题展览、开幕派对等，共同呈现出大家期待已久的精品面料之旅。

Since the official opening ceremony more than six months ago, Cabana has successfully held multiple exhibitions, forums and brand release activities. At this time of KVADRAT / RAF SIMONS first entering China, Cabana still follows the belief of“making the worldwide modern design touchable”and believes that fabrics are one of the best carriers to help customers make personalized expressions.

All brands in Cabana channel are officially authorized to be agented and distributed, including 60 worldwide modern design brands, and half of which are first introduced into China by Cabana. Moreover, Cabana also focus on cutting-edge design and continues exploring in new design languages and young and genuine expressions.

The exhibition is located at the 4th floor of Cabana’s first flagship store in China at the busy fashion landmark of Beijing — Taikoo Li Sanlitun North. We are going to hold brand conferences, theme exhibitions and opening parties at the same time in the gallery level exhibition hall and terrace of nearly 300 square meters, presenting the long-expected journey of exquisite fabrics.

The KVADRAT/RAF SIMONS collection brings the acclaimed designer’s exceptional sense of style to the home.

Distinguished by the innovative blending of colour and materials for which he is known in the fashion world, Raf Simons’ collection of textiles and accessories for the home is by turns sophisticated and playful, and produced to the exacting standards associated with Kvadrat. The first KVADRAT/RAF SIMONS collection received its debut public airing unannounced in January 2014, in an appropriately fashionable setting. Textiles from the collection were used in Raf Simons’highly acclaimed menswear collection in collaboration with artist Sterling Ruby. In 2015 KVADRAT/RAF SIMONS upholstery designs graced the Paris runway on more than one occasion, when Raf Simons presented his A/W 2015 and A/W 2016 menswear collection, at the Christian Dior Couture show A/W 2014—15 and Christian Dior Ready To Wear A/W 2015.
