悠酷凉亭，风、阳光和人的游戏

摘要：香港人工作忙碌，住的地方那么小(尢其是那些只有二十多平的”所谓叫做家”的房子), 优质又悠闲似乎离生活很远。设计师黄卓健决定要透过建筑艺术把群众带到户外去, 让风吹动他们的头发, 让小朋友滚一下地板, 于是便设计了这个「悠酷凉亭」。

蓝天白云 ，七色光彩。

“悠酷凉亭”以二十八个不同大小和物料做成的圆盖子立在柱子上, 风吹动圆盖子上的条子,把夕阳折射出的七彩影子投射在草地上。亭子凝固了时间、气氛, 把路人的脚步变慢了, 停下了, 坐下来, 躺下来,看看天空中凝固着的彩色的空气。

一阵风拂过，阳光洒落，七彩光环随风摇动，在地上交织出人与自然的游戏。

Play YOHO Pavilion

PLAYOHO Art Pavilion comprises of 28nos. of circular rings on columns with different materials and characters whichmoves in wind and cast shadows on ground. It creates a free public space forcitizens to stop their hectic pace, stay, and hang around freely. Appreciatingthe skylight and wind. It encourages the public to slow down and rest on thelawn and have a moment of free play, or doing nothing practically but watchingthe wind move the rings.

Hong Kongers were famous for non-stopbusy living, yet they couldn't live an enjoyable life. The work reflects andrethinks the idea of living, and the quality of living, by allowing people tohold their steps, lie down and feel their breaths reacting with the wind.
